Under supervision of Operations Manager, Pharmacy and Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator, checks medication orders and enters them into the computer according to applicable professional standards. Furnishes information concerning medications and therapeutics to physicians and nurses. Maintains stock inventory and supplies. May provide instruction and direction to technicians. Assists in maintenance of charges and records pertaining to medications. Serves the role of clinical advocate for the patient in the area of pharmacotherapeutics. Provides for the safe and effective use of medications in the hospital. Educational Experience Licensed, as required by law, for practice of Pharmacy, by the State of Florida. Experienced in hospital unit dose dispensing system, IV additive program and computer necessary to continued success.
