Gifford Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine/Pediatrics , Internist, or qualified Family Practitioner to join our successful and expanding Hospitalist Program. We are presently looking for a motivated and creative person to work a flexible schedule. Currently we have a full Physician Assistant complement (covering 24 hours a day). The inpatient service has an interesting mix of acuity and medical complexity yet the workload is at a comfortable and manageable pace. As part of the Hospitalist Team you will provide on-site care for adult and pediatric inpatients at our Critical Access Hospital. Gifford Medical Center is a financially sound, professionally progressive community based hospital in the village of Randolph that operates several outlying clinics in Bethel, Rochester, Chelsea and Montpelier, Vermont. The hospital offers both acute and rehabilitation beds as well as a large, award winning, nursing home. We are affiliated with two large tertiary Medical Centers within one hour. Randolph is centrally located in Vermont just off of route 89. Our community is a family friendly one which has excellent schools, art, music, and recreation.
