The Nurse Assistant, under the overall supervision of the Nurse Manager, assists the primary nurse in the daily activities and services necessary to meet the personal needs and comforts of patients and their families. Nurse Assistant personnel respond to patient requests within their authorized scope of care in a manner that is consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values, customer service standards, as well as, the hospital policies of St. Anthony’s Medical Center. Typical duties include: vital signs, bed baths, meal distribution, change bed linens, patient hygiene, etc. Previous Nurse Assistant work experience desired. Excellent customer service skills are required. All candidates hired must successully pass the education classes required for the position. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to work every 3rd weekend and approximately 3 holidays per year.
