RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

The Respiratory Therapist I is a health care professional who is a graduate of an AMA-Approved Program in Respiratory Care and is licensed by the State of Connecticut as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Associate of Science degree and certificate of completion of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program and current license by the State of Connecticut as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Bachelor of Science degree and registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred. 1-yr Critical Care experience or equivalent preferred, neonatal pediatric experience desirable. Excellent knowledge of the operation and application of respiratory care equipment. Excellent oral and written communication; excellent organizational skills; ability to work under stressful conditions; excellent interpersonal skills; computer literacy Permanent nights or weekends negotiable.
