ACCOUNTANT 2 (Senior)

Under general supervision, prepares complex periodic financial statements and performs related accounting procedures; analytical ability necessary to review complex accounts and prepare detailed financial reports; interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with hospital personnel; level of knowledge normally acquired through the completion of four years of college with several courses in accounting; 3 to 6 months on-the-job training to learn departmental procedures; and, working knowledge of the personal computer, including familiarity with Lotus 1-2-3.
